Photo walk through forchheim's old town

Photo enthusiasts are invited to the instawalk today, 2. June, at 1 p.M. On the occasion of the forchheim instagram exhibition #forchheimshots! After the excursion to thurn castle and the ride on the steam train french switzerland, now the walk goes through the beautiful old town of forchheim. Meeting place is the town hall square in forchheim.
The instagram exhibition #forchheimshots! It doesn’t just happen on the digital picture network instagram: the organizers matthias hosch, sabrina friedrich and the tourist information of the city of forchheim also bring the community together offline – at the regular photo walks in the district, the instawalks. It is the last walk before the closing date for the contest on 15. June. Until this date, photo enthusiasts can post their pictures on instagram with the hashtag #forchheimshots18. A jury will select 100 pictures, which will be exhibited in july and august at the stadtbucherei forchheim in spitalstrasse 3.
The instawalk offers a unique opportunity to capture beautiful images and share them with the community. The tour leads through the most beautiful corners of the city center as well as through the underworld of forchheim. A guest guide will accompany the walk and provide participants with interesting background stories about the city of forchheim.
Forchheimshots initiator matthias hosch is looking forward to a lively participation: "the walks give us the opportunity to stay in touch offline, to take great pictures together and to make new contacts. Many familiar faces regularly come to the walks, which is very nice. Of course we will be even more pleased if a few newcomers join us. No matter if you are a camera or a smartphone user, an instagram pro or an offline user – everyone is welcome to take part in the instawalks." the number of participants is not limited and registration is not required.

Help for seniors and young families in ludwigsstadt

Help for seniors and young families in ludwigsstadt

One way to achieve this goal was for the town to compile a list of services geared to target groups and needs. For this reason, mayor timo ehrhardt (SPD) presented two new flyers on thursday morning, namely the "senior citizens' compass" and "family land of upper franconia – club life in ludwigsstadt".

"Ludwigsstadt – worth living for a lifetime" or "kuv – children our responsibility", these are the current slogans to draw attention to the city's family-friendliness. Already two years ago the brochure "kuv" was published presented. It provides an overview of the childcare services available in ludwigsstadt, from toddlers' groups to elementary school children. "In ludwigsstadt there are no waiting times", says mayor timo ehrhardt. There will be off-peak care from 6 a.M. To 10 p.M. In the evening. In addition, babysitters can also be requested.

Cyclists and fubgangers: peaceful coexistence in the park

The relationship between pedestrians and cyclists is often fraught with tension. Bicyclists are sometimes perceived by pedestrians as reckless and dangerous because of their higher speed. Conversely, cyclists often perceive pedestrians as unpredictable obstacles on the way from A to B. In most cases it is not possible without mutual respect and understanding. This is especially true for the route through bad kissingen.

Significant sections of this path must be shared by cyclists and pedestrians. Even after a renewed vote and adjustment of the regulations for bike paths through luitpold park and on the promenade paths north of the ludwigsbrucke, one thing is clear: shared bike and fub paths still have rough significance in bad kissingen.
