Savings bank brings plenty of hupfspab

Towers, castle gates, stairs, columns – the new hupfburg of the kronach district youth association truly lives up to its name. While many bouncy castles are often just a rough flat cushion of air with no particular shape, this one is actually shaped like a castle. It is closed on all sides, has high walls and a roof, so that the little ones can play safely and use the bouncy castle even in light rain.

To the delight of the children of the vacation care center and their caregivers, the kupser school was chosen as the official handover location. So the boys and girls were the very first to enjoy a test hopping – an offer that was enthusiastically accepted.

For many years now, clubs, associations, companies and private individuals have been able to rent the KJR’s "hupfburgen" for their events. Unfortunately, the previous bouncy castle, also donated by the savings bank, showed signs of wear after about five years of intensive use, which made it necessary to purchase a new one. Therefore the KJR turned to the sparkasse kulmbach-kronach, which provided 4000 euro.

Just in time for the start of the spring season, chairman klaus-jurgen scherr together with board member steffen potstada and emelie schramm from the savings bank kulmbach-kronach handed over the castle to the KJR. As its chairman sebastian gortler said, the hupfburg is very well received; after all, it is on the road almost every weekend for a wide variety of occasions.

After the short official part, the participants were allowed to jump, climb, slide and hop to their heart’s content.
